the strength in outbreak was the online play which the PS2 failed at...so the game was a generation too early...

it's better served being released this generation...

the PS3 would play it as DLC.....not by physical media...aka DVD...

the PS3 can play a game from PS2 as DLC....not as a DVD...

so I think you might have the BC issue a little confused..

because it's an online only game and would be better served as re-released rather than fading off into the abyss....

I played RE4 too recently....that doesn't need to be re-released while Outbreak would be an amazing sleeper title..

Sony leaking this info would be foolish since people would end up not purchasing a PS3 and just wait for the price drop....

if anything, it would be Microsoft doing this...which is very far fetched imo.....or maybe not ahaha

honestly, a lot of people own the Arcade because it's cost effective and they often say "I don't need all that HDD crap"...

that's bad for business...

why should they say that when they could be saying "look at all these features my 360 offers and I don't even use them....maybe I should?"

the thing is, Microsoft should be marketing these features...the strongest feature of the 360 is XBL and the things you can add to your HD that have nothing to do with gaming..

if they dropped the Pro to $199, that would be a bigger deal than dropping the Arcade to $179 or $149

it's insane to think how the 360 came 4 years after the XBOX and the 360 has already been out for 4 years with no new console in sight...

just the addition of Natal...and the PS3 has been around for 3 years and is only just getting started it seems..

this game should have gone Greatest Hits back in June...

better late than never, but it was only a matter of time..

6005d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

by the time Natal launches, we'll see a $299 360 Elite/Natal bundle...with a game included...

that'll be about a year or so from now...

if the US has hyperinflation, then yeah....$200 a game...

...something...

and they could find another way to put the additional HDD space onto your 360 other than putting it on the side...

6011d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

they don't need to take parts out, they could just make them smaller....

relax guy, I'm pretty sure he was joking...

6011d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

you should really double check the site you are talking about...

they don't have enough 360 talk...and this coming from a PS3 only gamer..

6011d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

exactly, but I think less parts = less heat and would bring the failure rate down to the PS3 level....

Fat Princess has been worth the wait and I can't wait for them to expand on the class upgrades....it will get even better..

I said the same thing on a recent podcast I was on....

Vietnam would be the perfect setting, but they will never do it because we didn't "win" that war...

the article might even be too late as I wrote a similar one after E3....

the PS3 alone has had a good chunk of games pushed back a year....and some were being rumored to come out in 2009 and believed by majority of fans....

but the reality is that most of the games we've been looking forward to will not be released until late-late 2009 and later...

the price drop coming along with the PS3 slim is true though....they will be announced at TGS....

I'm in my 20's and I want to play this game....they may be targeting the younger audience, but these play, create, share games are serious fun for all ages ...
